Main purpose of the job:

 

Develop customer base for Additive Manufacturing and 3D

Key duties /responsibilities:

 

·         Ensuring company performance and sales targets are met consistently

·         Developing long-term business relationships by collaborating with and expanding the network of contacts with Customers in medical device, manufacturing and aerospace industry.

·         Developing new business using both own initiative, ability to research market and generate leads, pursue leads in collaboration with IDA and enterprise Ireland.

·         Providing proficient customer / decision maker support on SCHIVO’s capabilities.

·         Preparing and carrying out project analyses, profitability calculations, presentations, and contract negotiations

·         Work closely with internal Project Management and engineers in order to complete assessments for projects.

·         Promote SCHIVO 3D at fairs and exhibitions in Ireland and abroad.

·         Seek out 3D possibilities with existing customers where appropriate.

·         Provide an excellent after-sales service to all SCHIVO clients

·         Travel to meet potential customers internationally and nationally.

·         Stay on top of latest developments in the Industry

·         Continuously develop knowledge of SCHIVO capabilities.

 

 

Candidate profile

·         3rd Level qualification in manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years work experience

·         Minimum of 2+ years’ experience within an engineering or manufacturing industry is essential 

·         Customer Focused

·         Understanding of 3D/Additive manufacturing

·         Strong analytical skills, persuasive ability and collaborative approach to customer demands

·         Highly committed, as well as ambitious and forward thinking

·         Have a positive, pro-active approach to working in a team environment along with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills

·         Proficiency in all MS Office packages

·         Full clean driving license
